Cool Amps was selected to continue in the Department of Energy’s Clean-tech Hardware Innovation Prototyping (CHIP) Program, established by the Northwest Cleantech Innovation Network in partnership with the CleanTech Alliance and VertueLab.
Supported by the DOE’s Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC), the program provided nearly $50,000 for instrumentation and staff time at the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds. Cool Amps is using this support to demonstrate that its recycling process produces battery-grade cathode and anode-active materials.
